Description
Jazz classes at ITCH Dance explore and honour the intricacies of Broadway style jazz, pushing the athleticness and performance skills of a dancer. A majority of professional auditions expect dancers to have strong fundamentals in these skills, therefore dancers can expect a focus on training their kicks, leaps and turns in class. Additionally, this class will have an emphasis on footwork, presentation skills, rhythmic complexities and accented movement. To finish, dancers will learn taught choreography which will be delivered with a strong resemblance to an audition environment in order to develop choreographic retention skills and enhance performance.
